Stroke Best Practices: Interprofessional Workshop

This NEW one-day workshop will provide stroke best practices education from an interprofessional perspective and will showcase specific Canadian Stroke Best Practice Recommendations and Core Competencies. The workshop will be delivered via rapid podium presentations, interactive stations and a group case study.

Target Audience:Regulated Health Care Professionals working with stroke patients within the West GTA Stroke Network Region.

Learning Objectives:

1. Acquisition of stroke knowledge and improved stroke competency

2. Increased confidence transferring knowledge to practice.

3. To know, incorporate and respect the roles of all disciplines providing stroke care within an interprofessional context.
